TMSS is one of the largest developmental organizations in Bangladesh which has been working among the rural people for about 30 years. TMSS came into existence for the well being of unprivileged, discriminated, neglected, exploited and oppressed people.

TMSS had long felt the need of adding a Medical College to the many educational and social welfare institutions through which, over the years it has served the country. TMSS Medical College (TMC) has been established recently as a constituent program of TMSS to build a strong health service provider.

The mission of the Dental Unit at TMC is to promote optimum oral and Dental health to the people of the country through excellence in education, patient care, research, and service. The Dental Course is recognized by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC) in 2012. The College is affiliated with the University of Rajshahi.
